It has been announced that Volkswagen will sell only electric vehicles in Norway starting in 2024.

As a result of EV sales outpacing ICE sales in Norway in 2021, 64.5% of all cars sold there were electric.

In addition to being a major oil exporter, Norway has many incentives for EVs, including VAT exemptions and the ability to drive in bus lanes

In Norway, all-electric vehicles are much more affordable than petrol, hybrid, or diesel vehicles.
