A complete of 174 centres throughout 12 cities in Gujarat have been arrange for the examination. In Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, about 11,800 candidates appeared for the examination at 28 examination centres.
As per the experiences from Odisha, round 10,967 candidates appeared for the NEET examination in 16 centres in Bhubaneswar. This examination was performed in a complete 16 cities of the state.
The NEET (UG) – 2021 examination consists of 1 Question Paper containing 180 Multiple Choice Questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
As per the preliminary reactions from the candidates, who appeared for the examiantion, the examination was easy.
Rahul Singh, who appeared for the NEET examination at a centre in Rohini, stated the “overall paper was easy”. He discovered the Physic a part of the paper bit troublesome whereas Biology was easy for him.
Prachi Singh, who appeared for the examination at a Govt School, on Deen Dayal Upadhaya Marg, ITO stated the Biology a part of the paper was the simplest one whereas she discovered Physics a bit troublesome. She answered round 85 (out of 90) questions of Biology and tried round 40 questions every in Physic and Chemistry.
“Biology questions were based on NCERT, Physics was of a high level. Chemistry was okay too but Physics was a bit difficult,” Singh stated.
Another scholar, Ankit, stated the Chemistry was reasonably troublesome whereas the paper was very easy. He is hopeful of clearing the examination.
Areef Ahmed, biology trainer at Miles Bronson Residential School, Guwahati stated that many of the college students had been comfy with the biology a part of the NEET paper. He, nonetheless, opined that the chemistry portion was reasonable and the physics half was very powerful for the scholars. “The spirit of the exam was lacking in many students due to a delay due to the pandemic,” stated Ahmed.
Dibyaprasad Satapathy, Dean (science), Sai International School Bhubaneswar, stated the general paper was reasonable. “Biology was a little easy. Physics and chemistry papers were little but tough compared to last year. Physics and chemistry questions were lengthy and it was not smooth for the students to manage time while answering it. Physics was tough this time, while chemistry was easy compared to physics paper.”
